Just before surgery… I was a bit nervous. The thought of complete unawareness while someone is cutting on you, is a teeny tiny bit unnerving.
The IV was actually starting to come out, so I had the nurse re-tape the site.
After, Andrew was with me before I went in and came while I was in recovery. The neuroma was marble sized.
First, post op visit. Friday 1/28/22 stitches come out. Foot/nails still yellow from the betadine. Tomorrow I get to shower. 🤭
looks painful, but there is light down the tunnel. Be patient with yourself, speaking of experience, it will be worth the suffering of the surgery. Wishing you speedy recovery during your convalescence.
